October 7
Day 1 - Monday, October 7 Depart from your home Airport. You will arrive the next day to Catania-Fontanarossa Airport.
Note: if you want to arrive a few days early for PRIVATE touring or just to extend your trip, we can easily make all your accommodations.
October 8
Day 2 Tuesday. October 8 Arrival and welcome to CATANIA International Airport and greeted by Eszter and Alfred to begin your Spring Fling in Sicily adventure. Private Transfer to Sicilia Residence . NOTE: The bus will depart Catania Airport at around 3 pm for all other transfers we are happy to help for an additional cost. Eszter will “show you around” the immediate area. You’ll visit the green-grocer, the market, pharmacy, and two cafe’s located
within a stone’s throw away. Later in the evening, we’ll enjoy a Special Sicilian Welcome Dinner .
October 9
Day 3 Wednesday. October 9 After breakfast we’ll tour CATANIA, the city of black and white. We’ll have a guided tour of the Piazza Duomo, the famous fish market, the Roman Amphitheater, walk the famed Via Etna and get filled with the sights and sounds of city life. We’ll have an early dinner at one of our favorite fish restaurants “Antica Sicilia”.
October 10
Day 4 Tuesday, October 10 - Breakfast at the Residence. Free morning to spend a few hours at the pool or lounging around! Then we depart to ETNA! We will visit Rifugio Sapienza where you can see this most special volcano in all her splendor. Afterward, we travel in the small mountain town of Viagrande for a spectacular tour to learn about ancient wine making followed by wine tasting event at an Etna winery.
October 11
Day 5 Friday, October 11 Breakfast at the Residence then off to TAORMINA, the Pearl of Europe, but first we will visit the Port of Naxos where the Greeks first arrived is 734 BC.
October 12
Day 6 Saturday, October 12 After breakfast you will have a bit of downtime and then we are off to a private guided tour of the most exclusive Sicilian villa that contains the finest collection of Sicilian Carts in Sicily. Set in a magnificent villa on the slope of Etna, we will enjoy a barbecue and catered dinner on villa property. Believe us, this will be one of your favorite days!
October 13
Day 7 Sunday, October 13 Ottobrata Zafferana Etnea . This festival has something for everyone crafts, music, food, handmade local products and more. Dinner locally.
October 14
Day 8 Monday, October 14 Depart 10 am Breakfast at the Residence. In late morning, we will venture off to see one of the most important cities in ancient Greater Greece, ORTYGIA. Once the most powerful city state in antiquity, today you will walk the quaint streets, see the
Duomo, visit another market, and experience life as it was two millennia ago. In the evening, we will enjoy dinner again in downtown Catania.
October 15
Day 9 Tuesday, October 15 Visits to Acitrezza, Aci Castello, three fabled towns! You will see the famed “Rocks of the Cyclopes” and the Norman Castle, and be amazed at the quaintness and beauty they both hold. Dinner Cafe del Mar.
October 16
Day 10 Wednesday, October 16 After breakfast at the Residence, you can lounge at the pool or organize your photos. Later that afternoon you will go to Alfred and Eszter’s house for a dinner.
October 17
Day 11 Thursday, October 17 ARRIVEDERCI ! Transport to Catania Airport Start planning next trip to Sicily

CANCELLATION PENALTIES:
Cancellations must be received in writing (can include email). The charges below will apply from the date we receive your written notice.
• The Initial Trip Deposit of $750 per person is fully non-refundable
• 60 to 50 days before departure you will lose 50% of the trip cost or deposit, whichever is greater
• 49 to 11 days before departure you will lose 80% of the cost of your trip
• 10 days or fewer before departure, you will lose 100% of your trip
