February 4
Day 1 - Sunday, February 4th - Depart from your home Airport. You will arrive the next day to Catania-Fontanarossa Airport.
Note: if you want to arrive a few days early for PRIVATE touring or just to extend your trip, we can easily make all your accommodations.
February 5
Day 2 Monday. February 5th - Arrival and welcome to CATANIA International Airport and greeted by a member of our team to begin your tour. Private Transfer to Sicilia Residence.
NOTE: The bus will depart Catania Airport at around 3 pm for all other transfers we are happy to help for an additional cost. Eszter will “show you around” the immediate area. You’ll visit the green-grocer, the market, pharmacy, and two cafe’s located within a stone’s throw away. Later in the evening, we’ll enjoy a Special Sicilian Welcome Dinner .
February 6
Day 3 Tuesday. February 6th - After breakfast we’ll tour CATANIA, the city of black and white. We’ll have a guided tour of the Piazza Duomo, the famous fish market, the Roman Amphitheater, walk the famed Via Etnea and get filled with the sights and sounds of city life. We’ll have an early dinner at one of our favorite fish restaurants.
February 7
Day 4 Wednesday, February 7th - Today it's all about Mount Etna, from start to finish you will see her and certainly taste her bounty.
We stop at in villages like Trecastagni and Viagrande for a gelato and shop at one of the biggest all things Sicilian food shops in Sicily. Next we tour can organic Etna vineyard, tasting and early dinner at vineyard.
February 8
Day 5 Thursday, February 8th - Breakfast at the Residence. In the late morning, we will venture off to see one of the most important cities in ancient Greece, ORTYGIA. Once the most powerful city in antiquity, today you will walk the quaint street, see the Duomo, visit another market, and experience life as it was two millennia ago. In the evening, we will enjoy dinner in Aci Castello.
February 9
Day 6 Friday, February 9th - After breakfast you will have a bit of downtime and then we are off to a private guided tour of the most exclusive Sicilian villa that contains the finest collection of Sicilian Carts in Sicily. Set in a magnificent villa on the slope of Etna, we will enjoy a home cooked meal and catered dinner on villa property. Believe us, this will be one of your favorite days!
February 10
Day 7 Saturday, February 10th - Mid afternoon we will head to Acireale for Carnevale and big Mardi Gras party. There will be plenty of floats, customs and street foods.
February 11
Day 9 Sunday, February 11th - Breakfast at the Residence then off to Taormina, the Pearl of Europe. We first the Giardini Naxos where the Greeks first arrived in 734 BC. In Taormina we walk on the min Corso. visit the Greek Theatre, have granita at the famous Bam Bar and learn about this magical town in the province of Messina. Dinner at Aci Trezza.
February 12
Day 9 Monday, February 12th - Visits to Acitrezza, Aci Castello, three fabled towns! You will see the famed “Rocks of the Cyclopes” and the Norman Castle, and be amazed at the quaintness and beauty they both hold. Dinner Cafe del Mar.
February 13
Day 10 Tuesday, February 13th - After breakfast another visit to Acitrezza and Acireale for a Fat Tuesday celebrations. Early evening a farewll dinner.

Day 11 Wednesday, February 14th- ARRIVEDERCI! Transport to Catania Airport Start planning next trip to Sicily

PENALTIES FOR CANCELLATION:
Cancellations must be received in writing (can include email). The charges below will apply from the date we receive your written notice.
• The Initial Trip Deposit of $750 per person is fully non-refundable
• 60 to 50 days before departure you will lose 50% of the trip cost or deposit, whichever is greater
• 49 to 11 days before departure you will lose 80% of the cost of your trip
• 10 days or fewer before departure, you will lose 100% of your trip
